I am using CU9 and AX 2012 R3.
I canceled the sales order under the packing slip journal.
But now when I refreshed the page I am not longer to use the picking list and packing slip as they are disabled.
So I go under the packing slip journal and from there I go to picking list registration. For the lines when I click on function > unpick it does not allow me to.
In any case, if I have completed the packing slip process how can I unpick an item?

I have a scenario where there is an item which was suppose to be unpicked but the picker picked it. The status is already changed to packing slip. How can I unpick the item .
I have followed the following steps but still I am not able to unpick the item.
I clicked on packing slip journal for the particular sales order I want to work on and cancel the SO. The status changes to "canceled" and document status remains "packing slip".
Then I click on picking list journal and click picking list registration and under the lines when I click on functions > unpick I get an error message saying "Quantity XXX cannot be unpicked because inventory transactions with status Picked are insufficient".
Please let me know how can I unpick an item after it is under packing slip status?

all the locations where to pick
all the locations where to put the items.
So I can export/filter the list and choose which work to pick/group together.

Hi Patrick, I think you shouldn't specify any values on the query of your Multiple SKU NO directive.
As far as I know, AX will automatically take your Multiple SKU YES directive when the PUT type work has more than one item. If you have only picked one item, then your first location directive should be evaluated.
You shouldn't use PICK-type location directives with Multiple SKU set to YES because, as somebody explained before on this post, every pick line is evaluated individually.
What is "Multiple SKU" flag on location directives?

During the time of holiday and especially right now soon the hit for black Friday and Christmas the guys needs the stock before hand. So it is always kept standard as 30 days for coverage.
I get the following exception when trying to edit and Dyanamics AX Model Project. Weather I try to edit from AOT o open Visual Studio and try to edit from Solution Explorer, the result is the same:

Yes ... The problem was due to the disabling of configuration key for warehouse and transportation module .. This resulted in creating a temp table for the Query 2 listed above and the execution of the query is very slow.. We cannot able the configuration key at this moment as we are using a third party integration for warehouse management.. Not sure how to resolve this problem.. We tried making the callingCopyQuery propeerty set to false which speeds up the performance but the data retrieved on the child form does not seem to the same with the CallingCopyQuery set to true.

When i call EcoResProductDetailsExtended form directly from AOT the query 1 is generated and it results the data in few seconds but where the same form is called from EcoResProductPerCompanyListPage through hyperLink menu item the Query 2 is generated with WHsinventTable as the 2nd join the query but the WHSInventTable is not configured in our system which results in creating a temp table tempdb."DBO".t102647_2E56DD754F1749FAAB9CC613BC6CA61E and the results are retrieved after a minute.
Can any one know why the joins of tables are completely varying with these calls and how to avoid this changes in query each time?

Is there any reason why the header level of a purchase order allows to a hyper link, or a link via the actions (in screenshot), to view the purchase order details but the line level workflow doesn't?
Ideally I would like the line level approval to have the same hyperlink (or link in the actions) to the PO as the header does, would this be something which could be easily setup in the AOT?

The way we would use Periodic Journals would be to Credit the balance sheet account (prepayments) and debit the P+L/Cost account, your double entry/TB is always correct. Using the periodic journals would allow you to post this journal every month/period. It works in the same way but allows you to have control over what is posted essentially using it as a recurring template.
Agree, however, that the standard Accruals Scheme is the standard way to do it

On the work template, if I uncheck Stop work for Pick2, Put1 will go to the default receipt location and proceed that same user to the next step in the flow. Does the user have to perform Pick2, or is that assumed as a part of the flow? The end location is non-LP (silo), so I would like to avoid printing an LP within this process.
Also, is there any way to direct that Put2 to a blank/null location? Can I point the location directive for Put2 to a Location profile that has no locations?

I am trying to set up a business flow for PO receiving that is comprised of two steps. A user will unload a truck and move material to one of three "staging" locations (user decides which one). After the truck is emptied, or at a later time, the user will take the material from the staging area and put it in a directed location.
From what I can tell, the regular Advanced Warehouse receipt will put the material in a warehouse default location with no ability to override and then pick from that location and put in its' directed location.
I know on the sales side I can combine a pick with two puts to go from stock to dock to truck. Is there any logic similar to this on the PO side or would this require a pick/put to stage 1-3 and then a transfer pick/put from stage to a directed location?

At the moment,
dimAttrCustTable.RecId
is empty when calling the custom logic before the insert which means the Dimension value is not created.
However, if I call the custom logic after the super(), the dimAttrCustTable buffer does exist but then the following call fails:-
