Settle and post sales tax - financial dimension values.
Hi all,
I have settled and posted sales tax for June.
Path: Tax > Declarations > Sales Tax > Settle and post sales tax
As I view the posted sales tax for June from the Sales tax Settlement periods - Tax > Indirect taxes > Sales tax > Sales tax settlement periods -I mark the period for June and I further click on "sales tax payments" in the action pane. I can see that the settlement and payment has already been posted/created. When I further view the voucher all the dimensions values are available. Please see the screenshot below. I want the VAT to be posted and summed up for the main accounts with only one defualt dimensions (6000=RESPONS)
So basically, I want the VAT payable amount to be summed up and posted for 2650-6000.
Output VAT domestic sales - 2611-600
Input VAT-2611-6000
At this moment dimensions values for purpose and also follows along when I settle and post the sales tax. Do you know how I can set this up and fix it.

Set Field Enabled on Table Level
I have table XYZTable with a field enum XYZStatus. If XYZTable.XYZStatus == XYZStatus::Retired the record should not be editable.
I have been taught how to do this on a form datasource. I was wondering whether it is possible to achieve this on a table level?
It would make more sense and possibly reduce future work as the functionality is implemented once and not on each form.

How to disable/enable button on form by calling from another form?

I have created two forms Form1 and Form2.
Both Form have two button controls called Button1 and Button2.
Here my requirement is, If i click Button1 on Form1 it will open Form2 and Button1 control will be in disabled contidion on Form2.
What should i have to do?

If you can identify the SQL connection Id then you could certainly get a list of all the XLOCKs that the connection holds. You can use the data that's reported for each XLOCK to identify the table and row that's been affected and you might even be able to generate some dynamics SQL off the back of this which selected the affected data (the dirty row and/or the pre-updated state).
That said, I'm not sure how useful all this would be other than as an interesting exercise in getting under the hood of SQL Server. You would certainly learn skills in the process of building the above that would be useful when dealing with certain types of problems (e.g. instances of Blocking) and that might make it a useful exercise just for that.

Trying to show the OMOperatingUnit lookup based on the selected hierarchy.
Created a query and that query fetched values are showing in the lookup.
But after seleceting the values. getting the below error

Hi Volkan,
I have checked with the person who was also at that customer. We had indeed the same strange error message directly when trying to execute the setup. It was not a server, but a client machine in our experience. He told me that the desktop was fully re-imaged (Windows re-installation). Are you able to do a full re-installation of the particular server?
We never found the real culprit as we didn't got the time to do a full investigation.

In Inventory Management->Inquiries->On-hand.
But On ,On -Hand Form,Dimension Display Form,check boxes are not editable,
I have added display menu Item InventDimParmFixed,with delete Rights...
Any thing else I have to do????

Management Reporter can't show the type of data, you're aiming at. MR shows reports based on Financial data - and then possible through ATTR to show a few informations/data based on the voucher, you're at.
