I am getting same error, i checked the server name is correct.

Hello everyone,

We have a AX POS up and running. When trying to add new address to a customer, it shows "Unable to save customer centrally". However, we also try to create customer, edit the original address or create customer order. All of them work. So I think it's not something about Real Time Service. And I also check event viewer on the POS machine, no error at all. Any idea? Thanks.

Variable wrkCtrActivityResourceRequirement has not been declared.

How will the system know there is any demand if the order is not created? You are seeking to to do an ATP on the fly before creation.

One way to approach this might be to combine all the orders into a total forecast by item. load it into a dynamics plan and run mrp against it.

If no problem then import the orders.

If there are shortages then decide how to deal with exceptions.

I have now two projects on hold because of this case.

We have “KWD” Local currency, which has 3 decimals places.

The opening balance provided in 3 decimals, and The financial statements, Trial Balance, Report should appear in 3 decimals.

Dear All,

We have a requirement at a Client site for which we are looking for a solution. They have 6 legal entities out of which 5 are based in UAE and require 2 decimal places for their transactions. However, 1 legal entity is based in Jordan and for that 1 entity, 3 decimal places are required.

Is it possible to manage this scenario in AX 2012? If so, how can we achieve this? It would be really helpful if any of you would have any suggestions which can help us.

Best to store the docs outside of Ax and hyperlink otherwise only those with an Ax license can access.

Generally you will want those with security role access to a form to also have access to the attached documents.

To open a document you need read write access to a folder, and potentially the user who has such rights can go to that folder and see all the other docs in that folder. So you now have to look at tools like SharePoint and Windows security also.

There are third party tools for securing/monitoring folders etc.

My aim is to store legal and confidential document in the format of PDF,JPEG and DOC in ax 2012.

we have already enabled option of attaching document in purchase order creation and its work successfully but in case of legal document where we need to attach and how to restrict the same with users.

we also attach the one screen shot in this query whether this is right place or not

I have a custom entity created through the wizard in AX 2012 through the Data Import Export Framework. I can grab the data into the staging table and it looks good, but when I go to move it to the target it gives me a message saying that 1 record inserted, 22 updated. and sure enough there is only 1 record in the table and it's the last one in my CSV file.. so it just looks like it inserted one record and then just kept updating that one.

For this example the table is super simple with a name field and an ID field. The ID field is set as the primary index with no duplicates allowed. The data has no duplcates it's just incrementing numbers ("012, 011" etc).

I am wondering if I've just missed a property that isn't allowing it to insert all of them correctly.

No not posted. Open Journal vouchers. Can we edit the dimensions of the lines created in an open voucher?

My scenario:

We are doing integration project where we create JVs programmatically. After creating 65k JVs found out that forgot to add the few dimensions that were available in a different table.

Can we edit the account dimensions of lines inside a Journal Voucher?

Hi,

Can't this be accomplished by specifying the minimum and maximum hours for the different per diems that you have?

Have you tried that already?

Is this a company specific rule/agreement or something that is required by a certain country?
