Well, you could get it to create one instance of work for each quantity of each item. Use the Work template to do this. On the 'General' tab of the Work template header, set a Maximum Qty of 1 (and the Maximum unit to the item's unit of measure).
With multiple instances of work, you can pick anyone you want. You could use the Work list to allow the hand held user to select which one to pick.

currently I am working with a company that is doing a very long lasting quality check before sales picking.
If a customer orders Product A, B and C, all three items are put to a quality inspection zone. From here the actual "Sales Pick" will be executed. Therefor a Sales Order with 3 lines (A, B, C) is released to warehouse.
The items are already grouped by Sales Order (or Shipment) and the sales pick is performed via mobile device on the inspection table. But here comes the tricky part. The customer insists on picking the items random. Not ordered by item.
But the mobile devices is forcing me to pick one work line after each other. My idea was to create one sales line per item, with qty 1, but still the lines are in a order and grouped by item. Even if i delete all orders in work templates, it takes the order of sales order lines.
Is it in any way possible to sales pick these items randomly? A, B, A, C, A, B, B?
(All pieces have an own license plate)
I think it is not possible without customization but I any suggestions from you guys are highly welcome!

With 'Only for inventory transactions' un-ticked, the Batch number will be assigned to the production order when the production order is created. In this way, all RaFs should inherit the same Batch number as the production order. Can you provide details of an example where this did not happen?
When posting a production order report as finished journal with a batch number AX is creating multiple batch numbers for the one receipt. I was expecting only one Batch number for the entire quantity. Any suggestions on the issue/fix?

I have workflows setup in AX for PO and Requistions. They were working but all of sudden things stopped working. We made some changes to encompass new user approvers and have activated the latest version. Even if I activate an old version it appears not to work.

Thats because you're generating a new batch number per RAF. If you RAF the entire order in one transaction, you get one batch number. If you do multiple RAF's, you're going to get multiple batch numbers.
If you follow Guy's recommendation and untick "only for inventory transactions", the batch number will create when the production order is created, and you will see the batch number on the Inventory Dimensions of the production order.
One thing to watch for with the proposed setup is the Date portion of your batch number will be the scheduled finish date of the production order, not the date that it is actually RAF'ed. That can be problematic.
If you do need the Date portion of the batch to be when the production order was RAF'ed, leave the settings as you have them. If you have multiple RAF's to do, have the user manually select the same batch number as the first RAF when they do RAF # 2,3,4, etc.

Some users can still use f5 as manually refresh it in that form where our department can't, so it seems to be user specific

I am building a report using Management Reporter with MS AX 2012 R3. I have a calculation column but I only want to show the results on four rows, not all the way up and down the column. How would I go about setting up to NOT included all rows? Is there a way to specify which rows to do the calculation I would place on the Row Definition, or does the suppression come from the Column definition? I have searched the web and to date been unable to find a way to do what I want. I have built reports with Cristal off Oracle DBs before, but this is only me second time using MS Management Reporter for something other than routine reports. My fall back position is to shoot the data into Excel and do the selective calculations there, but that defeats the whole purpose of using Management Reporter.

As far as I'm aware, the answer is no. X++ has a lot of limitations comparing to T-SQL, so sometimes it's impossible to create x++ statement doing exactly the same.

First time I come across this bizarre problem.
I have a class which is launched by an action menu item.
Made a copy of the class to perform important changes. Then I changed the class name in the menu item. It still launch the original version of the class.
Did a full CIL recompile. Cleared the data usage. Deleted all the auc files. No luck.
I created a new menu item for the new version of class. Still points to the old version!!! I quite at loss on what is going on here.
If anyone has an input, please let me know!

I am facing an issue with Ax module display in navigation pane.
Only few modules like(HR, Administrator AR and Procurement & Sourcing are displaying) remainin not displaying
I have upgraded from 2009 to 2012 R3. in 2009 only few modules were displaying like (HR Admin, Proc &Sour , AR and GL) .
(Botton Left side a small arrow leads to Navigation pane option also have only above module ).
I have updated the license taken from another customer instance that is displaying All modules. i have Done Compilation, CIL and Sync All is ok with nigle error but offcourse few warnigs. in license config all options are checked from all modules, Developer workspace also opening. User also Assigned Administrator Role. every thing seems fine but don no what to do else, please help.
