We have few jobs created by one of the user, but he left the organization, now we want to update the "created by" name to Admin account.
Is there any way to update the Created by field , is there any impact if we change the name.
Found the below link where it is possible to update using SQL scripts.
Please advice.

I am having hard time with a task maybe you guys can help me out here.
I have a workflow with two steps of approval. and approval has a four member board who can approve both steps lets say (user 1, user 2, user 3 user 4).
both the steps are assigned to all four of the members.
What I want to achieve is.
If user 1 approve step 1. user 1 should not be assigned to step 2 for approval.
I will be very thankful if you would be able to help me out with this.

Report logic / Data comes from our Preprocess class. Report has 1310758 records and 480135405 bytes (info from ExecutionLog). Generating data goes smoothly. Above error occurs in my opinion at the end of rendering to file.
Additionally, when I ran the same report as RDL (print to screen), generating ends successfully. But when I want to export generated to screen report to PDF file after few minutes I see OutOfMemory Exception.
I have two environment of our ERP System. On the old one, report runs without any troubles. Above error occurs only on new environment. So there is might be difference of version or difference in some configuration.
New environment: OS Version: 2016, SQL: 13.0.6404.1, RS: 13.0.6300.2
Old environment: OS Version 2012 R2, SQL: 13.0.4466.4, RS: 13.0.4466.4
I've already extended maxRequestLength and executionTimeout in httpRuntime in web.config to max of int32, but it not fix my issue.
What else I can check or change?
I have a custom AX service operation that can take 5+ minutes to complete and I'm trying to figure out how to abort it from my .NET application, but aborting the client doesn't seem to do anything?
The problem is if I call the operation and the service times out, the AX operation continues on until completion, so I lose visibility to the results (success/failure). An example being a long-running posting operation where I don't know if it posted successfully or not.

Any user on a AADJ device cannot authenticate to the AOS server.
All other applications and resources authenticate properly on AADJ devices.
Any user on a HAADJ device authenticates properly.
The problem seems to lie in the authentication flow itself, not the device or user.
It might be ties to how AX handles authentication using SID, users on AADJ devices get a sid starting with "S-1-12-1" instead of the AD sid "S-1-5-21".
Changing the SID in the UserInfo table has no effect.
The Enterprise Portal is not an option in our usecase as some modules are not designed for it.
The AX2012 client "supports" windows authentication but seems to handle it in a different way compared to other applications.
Have you heard of this problem and do you know of any workarounds for this problem (other than VDI or RDGateways).

Hi. We have an AX2012 R2 CU7 application. When we export journal lines to Excel the inventory dimensions are not being exported. Most of these dimensions appear in the journal lines form - Site, Inventlocation,WMSLocation, BatchId, etc. Is there a solution for this issue within CU7 or is this issue resolved in a later CU? It is certainly not an issue in AX2012 R3. Cheers. James.

I have been having issues generating customer listings that agree with the account receivables balance in the general ledger.
I was able to use the detailed listing download functionality and I do not know how to include a field for customer name.

Is the newly released Subscription Billing and Projects Linkage only for basic T&M projects with no accrual and no WIP?
Scenario 1. if costs are posted to WIP then on billing schedule driven invoicing the WIP costs should move to project cost/P&L. However it does not happen
Scenario 2. If costs are posted to P&L and there is revenue accrual then on billing schedule driven invoicing the accrued revenue is not reversed to actual project invoiced revenue.
Am I missing any setup or the new functionality does not cater to these scenarios?
