Hi All,
How do I validate these email parameter fields of SMTP settings in X++ code such that it does not contain wrong data?
I'm sending email through X++ and it's working fine if all fields contain accurate data, but I want to make sure that these fields contain proper data.
Any code or suggestion will be helpful.

Is there a way to set a flag in AX2009 to identify customers that will accept invoices via email? (The thought is to create a new customer contact TypeID for this).
Also, can a PDF be created and attached to an email, if the customers can be identified, and then sent to the customer email automatically?
Is there a setting for this or how I can I stop this from occurring on a purchase order?

We are facing issue on data upgrade. we have completed all the check list in AX 2012 R3 and then took the backup. upload it to Dev VM which is in cloud and tried running the data upgrade package from LCS as well as through Command line. both way we are getting below error.

I want to use the extended standard class WHSWorkControllerExt class as a batch task in my batch job. I have decorated with the class using the attribute [SysOperationJournaledParametersAttribute(true)] but i am getting the below error.
'report name is not set. please set report name using parmreportname method".
Please refer the code and suggest me how to solve this issue.

Hope you all are having a wonderful time. I've recently been searching for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 setup. I previously downloaded and configured AX 2009 through VM available throughout the internet. But now, I need to install the Business Connector standalone on my personal machine so that I could use that to connect to the remote AOS that has been configured on the server through previously mentioned VM. I came to know through research that for this, I need Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 installation files/setup. Can anyone help me with the installation files/setup. I'm in a bit of a hurry, so your quick help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Installing AX2012R2 on Windows Server 2016. I have done this a number of times, but on one server when I run the AOS installer it opens the Windows Installer V5.0.14393.0 screen and does not proceed. It also does not create the objectServer64 log file referenced, and no other information is present.
I have done a clean install on this server, butI cannot get past this issue.
I have used the same installation disks on three other servers, all work fine, so why this machine?
I have checked the OS installation is clean, and also ensured all updates are present on the system. What would make one machine act this way compared to the others.
I'm seeing this error when I generate the receipt for a PO on specific items. When it first occurred the Unit Price had been edited on the item so I assumed it was that, but we're getting it on these items when no edits are made to the price on the PO.

Dear All,
I am configuring the Production Control on one of my client. I have a Four operation defined in one Route.
i have created a production order with the quantity of 200 pcs and Start Production Order with the 50 quantity in operation 10 and post picking list and route card journal for the operation 10, how can i move the 50 WIP quantity from operation 10 to 20. Because when i click again to Start button this will shows the remaining open quantity in the production order i.e. 150.
Please help me how can i move stock from one operation to another in production order ax 2012.
