AX 2009 Manage VAT on Gazoil Invoices
Hello,
We are using AX 2009 in France, and we have to post some invoices of Gazoil. The French government allow as to receive only 80% of the VAT Payed.
For exemple : for 120€ VAT included, (100€ Gazoil, and 20€ VAT) we are able to receive only 80% of the 20€. So we have to post 120€ VAT included and register only 16€ in the VAT account.
Have you please any idea of a Standard Setup using a Sales Tax group to have an automatic posting with the correct values ?

DATETime field
Hello everyone,
I have a customer requirement:
I want to add a new date time field in custConfirmJour like ConfirmDate field + it gets the time of the confirmation transaction in the system for the sales order. I've tried to insert it in the classes:
1. SalesFormletterParmData.
2.SalesConfirmJournalCreate\createJournalHeader.
but it returns to me errors while clicking the confirmation button of the sales order.
Can somenone let me know where can i insert this field?

print report only if no mail on customer account
Hi
We do have a self implemented module for courses. There are several reports like e.g. Course confirmation
Till now the confirmation is a report to be printed out and sent to the participant by mail.
Now I want to change the behaviour and if the participant has an email in our system I want to create an email and attach the document.
If not the report should be printed out with the settings selected in the sysprintform
What is the best way to do this?

Problem with pagination on Enterprise Portal
I am using Dynamics AX 2012. The EP List Page pagination is not working properly on some of the list pages i-e when the last page in the pagination (the right most option in pagination) is clicked, the numbers assigned to the pagination are repeated.
Here is a snapshot to help understand the issue.

D365 Data Entity of DataAreas
I am trying to create a Data Entity of the DataAreas (as there isn't one already)
However the only data sources I can find are DataAreaTemp, and DataAreaIdTableTemp, which can't be used for data areas
Anyone know the the right data source to use?

File attachment to General Journal not working
I am looking at moving my company to a paperless system, and I am trying to attach a file to a General Journal in Dynamics AX. I go to General Ledger > Journals > General Journal > New > Create Entry and Enter lines for JE > then I click on the attachment button in the bottom ribbon/bar.
In the Attachment window that opens, I click on New > File > Browse and select my file to attach > add description to attachment. Then I click close on the attachment window.
My JE is now complete, so I click Post > Post.
I took note of the voucher number, but when I go into the voucher, the attachment is no longer there. I am not sure what I am doing wrong and why the document won't stay attached.

Making Tax Digital AX2012 Outside GBR
Hi all,
I have been testing the Making tax digital hotfix for AX2012 R3. (KB 4488588)
My concern with this hotfix is the following: I have the need to be able to use MTD, for a legal entity based outside of GBR, but declares tax in GBR. Is this possible without any customization?

Error Uninstall visual Studio Tools
Hi,
Please help me I have problems to uninstall visual studio tools, it generates the following error.
previously uninstall the visual studio tools that existed from the control panel, uninstall the visual studio 2015 and install the visual studio 2013 that read the problem, without favorable results.

Modifying code on a form
Hi, I'm new to 365FO and I need to modify the Look up method of a field on a form.
I believe that this is done through the Datasource->>Field --> Lookup Reference Method.
But I don't see how to access the code from visual studio.
Can anyone help?

How to build cross reference data in onebox
I would like to know what is the new approach on building the cross reference data in OneBox?
How to schedule or run the task is not a problem, either a batch job in D365/PS on scheduling/Console written in c#.
I'm thinking the business case is to be able to schedule the xRef update on adhoc or it can be schedule to run out of working hours.
I read this post and the xppCompiler is no longer exists.

DIXF Error during directory based imports
Hi everyone
I get this error when I try to import FTIs via DIXF
"Error occurred while doing bulk copy from temp table to entity table-The given value of type String from the data source cannot be converted to type nvarchar of the specified target column."
What does this mean? I've looked up other people who've had the same problem, but none of the other articles help.
A little about the error:
- Ax 2012 R2
- Full compile and Full CIL done
- The import works correctly if run manually - from source to staging and then staging to target
- The file is validated correctly and can be shown in preview
- The file is even imported correctly to staging via batch
- This import does NOT work if imported as a directory based batch process
- The error log says: "The given value of type String from the data source cannot be converted to type nvarchar of the specified target column.", but how do I know what the guilty column is. They all look fine.
Any ideas?

Alert Emails with CC (Carbon copy to company emails)

We used to send acknowledgement emails to customers once a sales quotations is confirmed in AX 2012. This is based on an alert set when a sales quotation is confirmed. Now my requirement is to add a copy to our company email also for all such emails. Can I have an idea where to look for this customization please.

Priority in Sequence of Prices that was populated on sales line for Item AX 2012 r2
I have an item .
1. I created Price Discount Trade agreement journal and created different records for same item but with a. same dates different prices b. different dates same prices c. Same dates with no prices. etc.
2. Price is defined on Item form too
What is exactly the preference or priority in sequence?
When i enter this item on sales line and press tab - what is the priority sequence in general when populating price on sales line? Which price will be populated?

How can I create a table of which the value of one of the fields can only be edited by selecting the records from another table?
I have a table, let's call it table A, who has a field called "Name" of type string. And I have another table (call it table B), who have only one field called "AllNames", also string type.
I want the user to edit the field "Name" of table A only by selecting existed names from the field "AllNames" of table B.
I know I'm supposed to use table relations, but how?
I'm using dynamics 365 for finance and operations on visual studio.

Workflow Editor
Hi,
There is a requirement from a client side to add a new participant type in the standard workflow editor.
This is my custom workflow , but same as Participant tab , I need to add a new participant tab below so that we can send it to one more participant for approval by selecting appropriate role in it .
Can I get some light on this .is it even possible.
I'm not really sure how to proceed on this??
