Change Return Order Disposition Code after Packing Slip Posting

Is it possible to change the Return Order Disposition Code after posting the Packing Slip?

Here is the scenario:

Entered a Return Order

Received the Return Order line with Disposition Code "Scrap"

Posted Packing Slip

Cannot Post Invoice (AX is trying to create a Quarantine Order)

This instance of AX 2012 R3 is setup with Advanced WHS and does not have a Quarantine Warehouse or any setup for "Scrap" to be used.  Now we have a Sales Order that cannot be invoiced (credit posted) so I cannot move forward, but I also cannot move back (cannot cancel or update packing slip with WHS).

Any thoughts or suggestions???

Hello Kim,

Have you ever setup a cost price in the released product form for item no. 000001?

If this is not the case you will see a $0 cost price in journals.

How to use auto-filter specified value

1) This is the form. 

2) This is I filter the name field manually by using asterisk to filter (Only show ADR*). 

3) This is when I open display this form. How come it's already filtered ?? Are they using Query or method to make it auto-filter? 

I need help this is urgent.

Hi RainChong,

If you look at properties of display menu item you would see "EnumParameter" set to LossProfit. Base on this parameter form shows you specific journal type.  This range is applied in executeQuery() method and you dont see it on the grid because journalType is not presented there.

You can add a range to the datasource in init method of the form.

Management Reporter installation for AX 2009

Hi everyone

This is essentially an MR question. I'm trying to install MR 2012 CU16 for Ax 2009.

I've installed the server, now I'm trying configure it.

I open the configuration console, I select Ax 2009 and when I click next, i get an error that says, "The user name or password is incorrect".

There aren't any telling details in the event logger either.

What is it trying to authenticate against? Where do I fill these details in?

Any help would be much appreciated.

 Am getting the below error in the event log during the execution of the workflow in AX2009.

Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.NoIISRightsException
at Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.Axapta.Logon(BC_PROXY_ACCOUNT_INFO* pBCProxyAccountInfo, String company, String language, String objectServer, String configuration)
at Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.Axapta.LogonUsingBCProxyAccount(_SEC_WINNT_AUTH_IDENTITY_W* pImpersonatedUserAccount, NetworkCredential bcProxyCredentials, String company, String language, String objectServer, String configuration)
at Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.Axapta.LogonAs(String user, String domain, NetworkCredential bcProxyCredentials, String company, String language, String objectServer, String configuration)
at Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.BusinessConnector.Session.DynamicsAdapter.LogonAs(String user, String domain, NetworkCredential bcProxyCredentials, String company, String language, String objectServer, String configuration)

I have checked online for this issue and found that this error might be occur when there is no licence for Enterprise portal framework and EP users. I have checked that case we have the licence for both. Also I have checked for the access of the BC proxy account it also has admin access in both server and AX.

Please help me if anybody has some idea about this error in the event log.

Not Posted Invoice Purchase Order

Dear Experts,

I'm junior Developer of Dynamic AX 2012 R3

When I generate invoice from Purchase Order, is it possible to make invoice not posted?

If it possible, how to make it?

Sometime our client want to make a change to invoice journal's ledger account and we used Budgetting Module

Please kindly give me an advice and solution

Hi Tahta,

Posting an invoice related to a purchase order using and invoice journal is not possible. Possibly, you use the wrong word here. Can you explain the scenario what type of items  you are using and what journals?
