Downloading demo solution not possible

When trying to download the VM-setup-files from

https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/Global/AX/downloads/service-packs/AX2012DemoToolsMaterials#cu9

and I get the following error message within Edge/Chrome/Firefox 

 Um dieses Problem so schnell wie möglich zu lösen, wenden Sie sich an den Support und nennen die folgende Referenznummer für den Fehler: b93f0eaa-bb5a-43d6-967d-e6af29148d6c.

 (translates to: In order to solve this problem please forward the following error reference no. to support: b93f0eaa-bb5a-43d6-967d-e6af29148d6c)

 and within IE nothing happens at all.

Any idea for getting the files downloaded is appreciated

How to add a new checkbox after the POS screen where we enter the E-mail address for e-receipts on the POS after the sales transactions? Also, sync the check box with the database?

What dll is used for this screen?

Fine, he/she can select my (Model/Package) LedgerTableMod through "Select existing package" option only?

You can specify your package through project properties, no need to go for select existing package . That option is available when u create new package . In this case you are not creating package.

Dear all,

Suppose I create a new (Model/Package) say LedgerTableMod. Then I  create a extension of LedgerTable say MyLedgerTable_Extension and add new field in Ledger Table.

Suppose in future some other developer need to do some modification on Ledger Table again.

So, which one is the option:

1. As per my understanding he can select my Model/Package "LedgerTableMod" and do the modification on MyLedgerTable_Extension. No need to create again Extension for Ledger Table.

Ist correct?

Please give me more she'd on this

Payroll for AX 2012 R3 CU12

I have heard that the Payroll module for AX 2012 R3 is a nightmare to install and it requires a lot of customization to work.  Can someone who has this installed and are also using the HR module please respond?  We also have some union and non union employees and we were told that doesn't work very well either.  Thanks

Set property AutoDeclaration to Yes on the controls. Now you can refer to the controls from the form's x++ code simply with their names.

If you need to reach them from a class, add get-methods for the controls in your form. Then if you have your form (FormRun) in variable of type Object in your class, you can call the get methods. But there is no compile time check if such methods exist on your form, so check your code carefully to avoid runtime errors. Please see this discussion for more details:

Not able to upload pdf file through enterprise portal

Hi all,

Facing issue while uploading pdf file of size 1.8 mb, system does nothing.after sometime error comes like - trouble shoot with share point administratoion.

When I try to upload png file it uploads it , also pdf file with size 7 or 27 kB file gets uploaded.

In organizations administration -) document management parameter , we have file size parameters - size in database and size in system which set as 1000 and 5000.

I want to know this figures in document management parameters are in kB or mb..also, how to resolve this issue

We made Batch job to calculate statement for some reason we restart AOS while calculate statement  was working ,by anyway batch job create a lot of statement we clear and delete almost except 3  then When we try to clear the statement that create by batch then interrupted by stop AOS the error appear "Quantity 1.00  cannot be returned because items have already been returned or marked as open transactions."

Kindly help to solve this issue , We need to clear these statement .

Hi,

I tried to use the LCS to deploy a deployable package to one of our environment.

And it showed the error in step 3. Stop script for service model: AOSService on machine: Demo001.

I tried to resume the step, but still failed.

How can I fix this?

I disagree with my friend answer below.

That would be painful to remove or disable the duties from all roles.

What I would recommed:

1-Go to the AOT under the menus for GL setup. Right click and go to the option that show you the object for the menu. 

2-Right Click on the object and notice the roles, privilege, duties and entry point that have access to this menu item.

3-You want to grab the privilege, add it to your project.

4-Duplicate the privilege in your project  and create a new role. Add the copy of the privilege to your new role. 

5-Disable the original privilege set to NO.

6-Done the setup menu is gone for ALL roles menus the system admin and the role you created. You need to do this for each menu item under GL setup. If you need to restore, just go to your project and do so.

Hello All,

I want to hide Setup Menu From General Ledger Module for few roles related to accountant....

Is it possible to hide it in a simple way without using security development tool..?

I have tried by disabling the following Duties... but its not working..

LedgerGeneralLedgerProcessEnable - Enable general ledger process

LedgerGeneralLedgerProcessPerfReview - Review general ledger process performance

LedgerRoleCenterGLProcessPerfReview - Review general ledger process performance through the role center

Can anyone guide me with any other possible ways...? Or what are all the duties should I have to disable to achieve my requirement?
