Hi
On cancelling Import PO receipt, system is giving following errors:
a) No lines for posting or quantity = 0
b) Over delivery of line is 100.00 percent, but the allowed over delivery is only 0.00 percent.
Please advice.

Open the purchase order and go tho General-->line quantity, in that you can see a option called as update line, click that and there you can find the Registration. So click that and unregister that and try to cancel the delivery reminder.

Hi All,
I have I issue when try to cancel delivery remainder in Purchase Order line, when i tried to cancel PO line this error coming out.
When I click cancel delivery remainder, this error coming out stating that "Quantity cannot be reduced because the remaining update quantity changes sign"
When I check under General tab, line quantity. I found out the item have been registered but not yet perform receiving. Somehow, due to this registered item. I cannot cancel delivery remainder.
Somehow, due to registered un-receive item. The product receipt have been grey out and the line status still OPEN ORDER.
For this situation, how do I cancel delivery remainder for the item? Please share your experience on this.

If you have an installation file of the AX, you can re run that to install DMF. There is an option to install only DMF without changing any fields or other modules.

How many of them are there? I would say just create them manually in the AOT tables. But most likely you can create them in code as well.
Usually you shouldn't create new indexes blindly based on the missing indexes report. This means that if you have a missing index report with 1000 indexes, you don't necessarily need to implement all of them. Indexes add overhead, too.

How can we use Excel to import new journal lines into AX 2012? LedgerServices
Does anyone know the process to import a new ledger line into a new or existing Ledger Header using excel (without Atlas)?
I can list ledger transaction and even create a journal header using the LedgerServices service in the Excel Add-in. I understand the service does not support the update method so existing records cannot be changed.
I am trying to create a new journal header and new lines. We are even willing to first create the header if needed directly from the AX Client if needed.
Is there anyway to create a new journal line from Excel?
Thank you for any reply.. been working on this for a long time and just cannot get it to work.

You can try using the Standard function at Product Information Management >> Released Products >> Manage inventory (button group) >> Site specific order Settings >> and select a site and warehouse.
If you additionally Need a Location as well, you can try extending this functionality with some development.

When you are clicking the recalculation button at that time one screen pop up and we give the period timing right, In that there will be an option called as advanced. Just elaborate that and there you can find one field where some numeric value 100 or 1000 will be specified. If you want to get a exact value then it wanted to be as 1000 but the performance is low and the system will be slow. If you enter 100 the performance is good and fast but the value will be pathetic.

In addition to the answers provided above:
When using the recalculation functionality, also make sure you close the inventory periodically. Once per month should be good or when you have really a lot of transaction once per week. This closing will mark the transactions as closed and will then not pick up the same transactions again in a new recalculation. If you don't close the inventory, all transactions which are not closed can grow, also causing this behavior.

Try resetting the personalizations on the form and reopen with the same record, and check how it Looks.
If it doesn't help, try Clearing the usage data of this form/table.
