Problem with Summary update is that you can only consolidate picking lists for the same customer.

WMSII is not a five minute undertaking. You need to plan, configure, test, deploy etc. The best resources are these two blog posts:

You'll be doing config, changing data and using something completely new called Shipments, and you'll want to get familiar with it in a Test environment.

hi All,

there is one transaction number 7055.

in this transaction, we transfer two quantity of item from warehouse PA to PASWS through GBT.

however, the cost amount from PA to GBT is missing. 

How could it be? In what circumstance will this issue happened ?

Please advise.

Data entities once build from VS are available at odata  service endpoint which can be accessible from [Your organization's root URL]/data/. The way OData query service works is different than what you have in D365

Hi all,

are there any web services that can be used for both AX 2012 and Dynamics 365? I usually use AIF framework to consume a web service, but that is deprecated in Dynamics 365.

D365 - Workflow - Must select a language

Hi,

The legal entity language is EN-US. The system parameters language is EN-GB.

I imported some workflows from another legal entity where it is causing me the error message you mus select a language.

Screenshot below. Translation icon shows (1) despite I don't have one defined.

Hi netherworldforest,

You can make yourself admin if you have access to SQL database or you can reset password of admin user if you have access to Active Directory. Do you have either of the 2 ?

Hello Everyone,

I took over this company about two years ago. Before the owner before had full rights to the system. When I took over this company.  There was only one person who also had full control and Admin rights to RMS. This person is starting not not do their job as they should. When I took over their was myself and two other people who had full Permissions and Admin rights. The last month I found that we all have been taken down to level 3 and our Admin rights taken away. This person doesn't want to give me access back into my own system. You can see that issues with this and with just firing this person. Does anyone know if there a way I get in to RMS and get my Admin rights and Permissions back? Other then having this person change them. Is there a back way or what? 

please help!

Hi Ludwig,

Understood.  We have 4 more for clarification:
1. Let's say, we have not made any budget register entries for Supplies expense but in the criteria for Budget control rule we left it blank with 90% threshold and activated it.  What will be the effect if we transact a PO with supplies expense with 10,000 amount?  Will there be an alert to warn us that it exceeds the budget for the account even if the budgeted amount has not been defined?

2. Does the Define budget control rules only checks the expense and revenue accounts when activated?  Our target is to monitor the budget for all expenses and revenue accounts only, should we just leave the criteria blank or specify criteria for each expense and revenue accounts?

3. What is the difference of the Budget threshold under Define parameters and Define budget control rules?

4. To which does the setup and criteria under Define budget control rules check the threshold defined against? Budget register entries?

Hi Everyone,

We are about to implement budget control for our company.  We would like to ask if in case we create a Budget control rule and leave the criteria blank and set 90 as budget threshold, will this affect and check the budget register entries for ALL the ledger accounts [including non-expense and non-revenue]?

Example:
Supplies Expense 200 (with budget register entries)

Accounts Payable -200 (without)

Will AX alert me when posting this transaction since I do not have any budget setup for non-expense and non-revenue accounts?

Thanks Anton,

See, I create a new configuration on AOS server 2 through AX configuration utility and its working fine on AOS server2 (AX client is working correct).

But the problem is when I put this configuration(that I created on AOS server2) on AOS server1, it getting crash and gives above attached ( in above comment) screenshot of event viewer.

All in all  problem is AX client is working fine if it is being open from the configuration file where it is created (on same AOS server) but its not working when I opened it on different AOS server.

Please suggest.

We have many AOS servers with 2 load balancer. When I am trying to connect AX Client to AOS(Both AOS and client on different server)
then AX gets crash and gives above error but it works when connects AX client to AOS ( Both AOS and Client on same server).

Hi all.

I'm trying to resolve an issue with a report enabled for Preprocessing. Currently the report shows no data on the report despite the data actually being populated in the preprocessing DP. If I have breakpoint (i.e. a short delay) after the data population but before the actual report is generated then the report generates with the correct data. 

Has anybody come across such an issue

I have the same issue when try to cancel remaining qty system prompt error "Reservations cannot be removed because there is work created which relies on the reservations".

Deliver Remainder Error

A sales order that has been completely picked and delivered to a customer is still showing a "Deliver Remainder" quantity.  When looking at the Line Quantity under the General tab when in the sales order.  This is preventing the order from Invoicing to our Customer.

I have a case in Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS):
1/ I want the customer can create a ticket in LCS
2/ The team member of my company can see and response this ticket, upload file to this ticket
3/ The customer can download the file from ticket
4/ I can search the history tickets
5/ The LCS can send email to notify any answer ticket.

Question:
1/ Can it support?.
