You can create mobile workspaces and open them with the D365FO mobile app. These are basically very simple D365FO forms.
Then there are separate Microsoft made apps for some scenarios, such as warehousing and timesheet entry.
In addition to that, you can do PowerApps that talk with D365FO data entities.
And, you can integrate your proprietary mobile apps with D365FO services.
So there are many tools, and a lot of information available about all of them.

You seem to be completely ignoring packages, which is a big mistake. The answer depends on whether the "extension which is already present" is in your package or not.
You can modify elements (including extensions) that are in your package. You can't change code in packages developed by other parties, such as Microsoft or ISVs. You can only extend them, which is the point of extensions.

Dear All,
Can you please let me know if we are going to work with Standard Objects on Table, View, Queries and Data Entities. So, we need to work with Extensions.
I saw for each Objects we have extension. Like Table. extension, View.extension etc...
For example :
If i need to work with Standard View. So,create my own view.extension to work OR we can work directly with objects under View.extensions?

How to Filter AX Grid with comma separated values - Extend Characters limit?
This might be a strange request from the user but just wondering can we 'extend' the character limit on filter value on AX Form Grid?
- Is there any customization we can do? like Properties or something
- Let's users can enter up to 20 Invoice number with comma separated in the filter. But they need to enter more.
Please look at the following screenshot.

You should not change any extension which does not belong to your package. Work with extensions does not mean change existing extensions which are created by Microsoft. If you want to add something create your own extension in your own package

And the Extensions which is created by Microsoft, we can only extend this if required but it's not allow me to do any customization.

Basically if you want to change anything that is not in your package, you have to create an extension. You can't modify objects that are in other packages, no matter if they are normal objects or extensions.
In earlier versions of D365FO and AX, Microsoft allowed others to customize the standard package. Now it's no longer possible.

Since you only restricted the Main account table, The restriction only applies to the Main account form. The Journal, Report and Inquiry's are on their own table. Have a look at the TechNet document below that explains how record level security works and how to set it up. Hope this helps!

It's showing it's belong to Package ( Bank Type )
If i need to add any element on base enum BankAccountType So, i need to create my Own Package and Own extensions. Then only i can add elements in enum Bank Account Type.

That's correct , you don't need new package every time you create extension. Once you create package you can create all extensions in that. Make sure isExtensible property = true for the emum you are trying otherwise you wont be able to extend it .

Means suppose first time i am creating Package ( MyOwnPackage ) and Create Extensions.
If required, Next time on wards i need to choose "Select Existing Package" and from drop down need to select my package ( MyOwnPackage). So, that i can add multiple objects in single Package.
Is't correct?

"Select Existing Package" is related to creating models.
I assume it's not what you're talking about. If you want to add objects to an existing model, either open an existing project for the model or create a new project and make sure its for the model where you want to add things. (You can change it in model properties.
You'll use "Select Existing Package" only if you want to create more models inside the same package, which you won't do often.

They can use Advanced Filter/Sort to add as many ranges they like. That's a good enough workaround, in my opinion.
But if they regularly need to prepare a comma-separated lists of fifty invoices, it seems that they're missing some functionality. Consider a customization that would allow them to avoid this manual process.

RE: Trade intercompany and warehouse management receiving
Hi Vadim Vdovin,
The option to receive a license plate in receiving company which has been packed and shipped by the sister company on inter company sales order is not as straight forward as it is for a transfer order.
If you will try and use the license plate receiving and put away then it will not allow you to receive the license plate for obvious reasons.
However this is possible where you can still receive the same license plate shipped by the sister company but not all at once. You can try and use the mixed license plate receiving option with source document line identification set as purchase order item receiving and put away.
Using this option you can scan the license plate on the mobile device and next you will be asked the purchase order number after which you have to manually receive the items as per license plate after scanning the bar codes.
This was you can still receive the license plate but not in the same fashion as you are able to do for transfer orders. There is no such functionality for purchase order as it is for a transfer order and its justified as shipping and receiving for a transfer order happens in same company and for same order.
Kindly see the below screenshot where i have received a license plate shipped on an inter company sales order.
