It does not matter which environment it is, Security changes are a technical task. In case you want it to behave differently for different environments, you might have to add additional steps to your environment cloning process as suggested by Basheeruddin.
For example we are running a job after each Production->Test system clone, which does a lot of cleanup i.e. removing batch jobs, changing proxy account, AIF port trusted intermediary users, etc.
You could do a similar practice, where you modify the security treenodes with simple reflection within the X++ job to add/remove those menu items as per your requirements.

Your accounting currency is SDG and you recorded a transaction in SDG.
Why do you expect AX to create a foreign currency revaluation?
If you would have posted the journal with the currency GBP, then AX would have created a currency revaluation.

Microsoft already has an excellent tool for monitoring, we are using it as well, called System Center Operations Manager 2012 (SCOM for short). You can add the monitoring management packs of your choice that you would like to collect details for, and there is even a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 management pack available.
It is very powerful, can monitor WMI performance counters, Event log, disk space, CPU/RAM/Network/IO resources, service uptime, and dozens more. You can set up alerting for events, regular reports, do maintenance and outage management, etc.

WHAT DO YOU USE FOR PERFORMANCE MONITORING?
Hello,
Does anyone use a cheap or better yet free performance monitoring tool? I have a need to monitor about a dozen machines during an event to help identify bottlenecks but I'm having trouble finding a tool to do it. Ideally not something overly complex, this is a one time need.
Or does anyone know of a good tutorial for Performance Monitor? That can record the info I want to watch, cpu, memory, disk latency, network utilization, etc... but configuring it for remote machines seems harder than it needs to be. That and I would like to avoid setting up collector sets on 12 separate machines then have to deal with a bunch of separate reports. I actually checked Performance Monitoring Video for help but wasnt satisfied.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for coming back. After further digging someone was forcing data into the shelf life and best before date fields as part of a development they had done. They were pushing the information into the wrong fields. Hence getting the issue with "expired batches" thanks again for the help.

Consider Shelf Life option
We are currently working with a client who is not using batch (tracking dimension group) on their item. If I enable the "consider shelf life" option in the master plan and run MRP I am getting lines showing "expired batches" which discounts these from the plan. Does anyone know why the system is pulling in the expired batch onto the master plan for items that are not batch enabled. The expired batch shows when we go into the detail in the Requirement profile page.

Hi Ludwig, these charges you mentioned are on the PO header which will require reconfirming the PO. Typically we use Vendor invoice and this where I don't see charges option on the header. I can only add charges to the lines
