Thanks a lot for prompt response.

While point no.3 and no. 4 is addressed , I am still struggling with point 1 and 2.

Would appreciate if you can review and provide your valuable inputs.

1. There is no way to determine which among azure and on premise has less tco. Is there any way we can compare CAL cost vs Azure subrscription cost. I was doing some research but unable to find data about which is more feasible. Even if on premise is more feasible, question of will MS release all of its cloud d365 on the on premise model.

2. The only way to have integrated dev environment is to go for azure subscription couple it with VSTS, control cost by starting and stopping machines. Any estimate on how much would it cost going for this environment for say 3 developers.

The other economically feasible dev environment is to to have each developer download vhd and have his/her own dev box.  But then how can the team of developers work in isolated dev boxes. Is there no way we can have visual studio in their dev boxes with TFS and then all these isolated dev boxes would  get integrated via TFS.
