The organization hierarchy is based on relationships you define yourself between internal organizations such as legal entities, business units and departments.
The position hierarchy is based on relations between HRM positions. In this way it is a managerial hierarchy of workers.
So the concepts are different.
There is no technical relation between them.
Functional you could have a department hierarchy as organization hierarchy. Each position can be linked to a department. In that way you are usong thesame departments, bur still there is no relatiom between the organization and position hierarchy.
