If all you know is that "nothing happens", it means that you didn't try to debug your code. We can't help you until you collect more information. First of all, do you get any record returned by element.args().record()?
Do you have any record created in Form B? If not, you obviously can't assign any values until you create one.
Also, please tell me whether MyID represents a relation between those two tables.
