1) In software requirements for server computers
Is there recommended setup in which AX components can be grouped?
e.g
- Databases, Reporting and Analysis services can be deployed in one Physical or VM Server
- IIS, AOS, Portal and Help Server (one physical or VM Server)
- Sync proxy and sync service for MS Project, Reporter (one physical or VM Server
- etc.
2) In system requirements document. AX R3 list supported AX databases down to SQL 2008 R2, would you advise to upgrade to latest version of SQL database like SQL 2014 to improve performance and security?
3) Concurrent users may affect the latency and bandwidth, during peak business hours, how can we prioritize AX applications at the network level? Does it have specific ports or services that we can identify using QOS (Quality of service) at core router or switch level to improve performance?
