My client went live in AX Projects 6 weeks ago. The client is unable to post timesheets of US workers when their timesheets include a line charging a project owned by the UK legal entity. We did not have a problem with this in the test environment. The UK is not having this problem in production. I'm busy comparing the config, but I have not found any smoking guns so far. Ledger posting groups are the same. Project categories are the same. Project groups are the same. Chart of accounts are the same. Intercompany settings in the Project mgmt & Actng Parameters are the same. The errors are nonsensical and false. Sometimes AX says "No account exists for account type Cost for projects" then other times it says "payroll allocation" in place of "cost". Other times it says the period is closed but when you check the ledger settings and the underlying modules, the period and modules are clearly open. Something is causing the error, and AX does not know how to respond.
This is AX 2012 R2 CU7.
Any ideas? I would be most appreciative.
