I got your point, currently i am using 13 structures which are same for all the companies and all the 13 are attached to the ledger form. So what i did i create the structure namely ALL and add the segment main account All and Business unit.In the configuration account it get activated but when i am adding the same structure it is giving me the following error:
"The criteria for dimension MainAccount overlap. The node on account structure ALL with criteria * overlaps the node on account structure BS with criteria 1111000 to 1129999."
This error repeated 13 times with the group of ledger account as i have the 13 structure.
And this error at last:
"You cannot add this account structure to the ledger. The account structure does not have the same ordered dimensions up to the position where the combination of dimension values becomes unique across all account structures for this chart of accounts."
I think i already in the structure the ledger accounts are defined due to this it is giving me the error.
So, can i do it like in the structure i will duplicate the all 13 and along with the existing segments i will add this business unit dimension. And then i will go to the Ledger form, and remove the all 13 structures and add the new created 13 structure.
Please suggest i can do it in this way, as this is the old legal entity and already have the transactions. If so then after removing and adding do i need to do anything like balance building or any other process.
