AX2012 - Circularity in BOM

Dear All,

I have a problem with circularity in BOM.

I want use same Item number with different Color in BOM.

Is this possible?

Example:

BOM1:

• Item 100 Color 000 (without color)
  • Item 900 (Sheet Metal)

Operations:

• Cutting
• Drilling
• Welding

BOM2:

• Item 100 Color 1111 (Red)
  • Item 100 Color 000 (without color)
  • Raw Material for Color

Operations:

• Coating (Paint)

Is there any way in AX2012 to handele BOM like this?

It's important to have same Item Number In Metalproduction and in Paitshop. Only property Color shold change...
