You mentioned that customizes the Initmethod.

You also customizes the toggleDefaultInfoGroupmethod (this method is called in the Init)?

If not, please check.

DataSets > PurchReqCreate > Methods > ToggleDefaultInfoGroup

There is an enable(false) for ProjId
