RE: AX 2012 R3 POS Client Database version mismatch

Hi Bartmack,


Maybe any KB update changed the version of your environment.


If you applied any KB, make sure you have installed all binary components related to KB (such as POS, Client Async, Async Server, Channel DB...)


If that is your scenario, after installing the DB channel KB component, you must upgrade Channel DB.

In some scenarios, you can use the Retail Channel Configuration Utility.


Important: Before performing this procedure, backup your channel database.


1. Select the option "Create/Upgrade Channel DB"

2. Add your Server Name and Channel Database name

3. Apply.
