Hello!
Our customer ask us to improve the financial dimension structure with more financial dimensions, so we create a new one.
The old one has the main account and a personalized financial dimension while the new one have Main Account/Bus. Units/Department/CostCenter/personalized fin.dim (with allow blank flag active).
After validation of the new structure the activation and after adding it in the General Ldger entry point we proceed to add some default financial dimension on main account (department and cost center) and item (business unit).
Now we have some issue with SO (status open order/ delivered) already in the system --> we update the saleslines in order to update financial dimension with Business Unit and now we have on the sales line Business unit and in some cases the personalized financial dim. Cost Center and department are on the main account.
At the posting we have the following type of errors
You must select a value in the (dimension) field in combination with the following dimensions values that are valid...
I understand that the problem are related with the sales order header, If we add the fin. dimensions related to the account in the header the error disappear and the posting complete successfully.
Should AX retrieve those fin.dim. on the sales lines and at the account level?
How is possible to update SO and PO already in the system before the change without develop some job?
