issue with item base Serial

Dear Friends,
I have an issue with item base Serial:
1/ The on-hand item serial is 5 million
2/ The total receipt transaction of a month is 50000 serial
3/ The total issue transaction of a month is 40000 serial
4/ The time of the receipt transaction take 10 minutes
5/ The time of the receipt transaction take 20 minutes
6/ The closing process of the inventory takes 5 hours
Question:
1/ I want to improve the performance of the system. How the AX 2012/ D365 support this case?. Thank you
