AIF custom service class put try-catch block not inserted log exception in SysExceptionTable

Hi,

I am facing this: not insert the record in sysexceptiontable when throws an error in try block and it's goes to the catch block. I write code of insert the record in sysexceptiontable but it is not inserted. And I put debugger but it will not executed. can we insert catch block only.How to solve this problem. Could any body help me.
