Procurement - Items need to be expensed as well as sold to customer

Hi AX Community

I am working on a Procurement project.

How can AX fulfil the following requirement?

"Items are bought can either be sold to a customer or consumed internally (expense)"

This would infer that Items need two different posting profiles but I'm not sure how to achieve this.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
