I'm trying to work with rework batch orders, but when the PO has estimated status, cannot go on.
DAX shows a message that follows:
"Inventory has to be manually reserved after estimation and prior to starting the order".
I've been tried reserve manually a quantity, but nothing change and both start and release buttons keep invisible.
Which step is missing in this case?
Can anyone help?

My client has Diagnostic Labs all over India.
He uses Sales & Marketing, Fixed Assets & Master Planning modules AX 2102. He uses Collection Center Data to calculate Commission and Discount given to collection centers on the generated sale.
They Use Customer agreement type Commission, Discount & All . Can there be any other customer agreement type apart from Commission , Discount and All.
You will need to remove the items from the project using a project item journal to put them on hand.

I had a Project. Then i created a PO for the project for ItemB which had 0 Inventory. When i receive the PO, i should see the inventory on hand. But i dont see that. How would i know that i had an inventory that i can use for this project?

It would be possible to setup product templates in each company. Then you can apply a template after releasing. Copying values from another legal entity would require a customization or you can have a look at import/export framework.

I have been tasked with customizing the Release Products form (EcoResProductRelease) accessed from Product Information Management -> Common -> Products -> Products, selecting product, then clicking the "Release Products" button. Once a product is released to a company from the Release Products form, it is often edited from its original release state. When releasing we want a way to select a company to copy the product details from instead of using "default" values.
What is the best way to approach this? The users have asked for just another tab on the Release Products form to select a company to copy the details from. Thanks for your help!

What is it exactly what you want to learn? Your question is quite broad. Forms are presenting data and can interact with users. Classes contains business logic for e.g. posting, batch processing and managing all kind of business logic used widely in the system.

Possibly, you can use the right-click button to open the details form. If this is not present, then this field is a enumeration. Otherwise, you can go to the main setup table and add values.

If the manager needs another view, then probably a display method as discussed before would be the best option. The on-hand form already contains a lot of display fields. You can review them to see what you need to do to achieve a new display method based on your calculation.

It looks like LCS has an updated installer now that corrects this issue.
I am trying to update my AX 2012 R3 installer to the latest patch version.
When I run the installer (axupdate.exe downloaded from LCS) I get an error on the download and install updates page "No internet connection found. Please verify that your internet connection is available." Obviously I have internet on this machine and can access https://update.lcs.dynamics.com/Update/PackageSelect/?nobr=1 from a browser no problem.
I have noticed that the installer is trying to use TLS 1.0 to access the update site. Which is refused.
I have run an SSL report on update.lcs.dynamics.com and have found that it is only accepting TLS 1.2 connections.

Is there an updated installer that can use TLS 1.2? Is there another way to download the updates?
The transfer order itself does not store the voucher numbers. You can find the physical and financial voucher on the related inventory transactions (using Lot ID = InventTransID).

I have a requirement to print a label when Transfer order is received. I have to print from invent trans for that particular transaction. I am using InventtransferParmTable, InventtransferParmLine to get all the information such as parm id, invent trans id etc. but when I am trying to find a particular invent trans record, I even need voucher to identify uniquely. How can I find the Voucher for Invent transfer line receipt. I have been going through Invent Trans, Inventtrans origin,Postings etc but could not find.Any lead for the link is highly appreciated. The reason I need Inventtrans is that, I need to print information such as sate physical.
