I am importing Ledgerjournaltrans from excel, I can able to insert all the excel values into Ledgerjournaltable & Ledgerjournaltrans table.

I am facing it difficult to convert values like ledgerdimension values which is in format

["MainAccount", "Branch", "Project" , "Worker","ItemDescription" ( 5010-BL-1AX13097-500003-EXC01)

the above said combination display should be converted into Ledgerjournaltrans .Ledgerdimension which should be in Recid format.

Please help to do this conversion.

I guess, you will do good to update the final receipt date for each PurchLine to a new field. This can be done with some Code at VendPackingSlipTrans.insert().

Now your query will look simple, and the required data (Dates) will be available in the same table.

If I understand you correctly, you are getting the same results for serial number 348 and 349, but you hope to get different values as there are 2 purch lines.

Can you explain what SerialNum is related to? I think, we have to find a relation between SerialNum and InventTransOrigin or InventTrans.

Hi I want to tell only unique values, 
I explain I would like clients to have open orders within a date, example:

SalesTable
CustAccount         SalesID             Date
    089               S20              01-06-18
    089               S21              01-06-18
    110               S22              01-06-18
    123               S23              01-06-18
    234               S24              01-06-18
    123               S25              02-06-18

The client recovered twice on the date 01-06-18 but 
I want to have reported a single record, 
because it is a single client that has 2 open orders. 
It would be something like that in ssrs report:

date from 01-06-18 to 01-06-18
client         active             orders 
  089            1                  2
  110            1                  1
  123            1                  1
  234            1                  1
 and if I look for date 01-06-18 to 02-06-18 
It would be something like this:

client         active              orders
  089            1                   2
  110            1                   1
  123            1                   2 
  234            1                   1
 If you understand me? I want to count the group of the account, 
that counts unique values please

Try restoring the form, re-compile it, and restart the AX Client. The fields should look good now.

Try synchronizing your DB and removing usage date, it should solve "Unretrieved" problem.

Hello awesome community! :)

I wanted to add new customized fields on a form.

I created two fields in "LedgerJournalTrans" table:
1- Beneficiary Name 2- Beneficiary Bank

I want to add two "StringEdit" fields on a form, and so I did, this is a screen shot:

But when I went to the form to see the result and I find this:

I want to be able to enter data from these "StringEdit" Fields.....Could you please tell me what I am missing?

Hi ...I need to extract a list of contacts for all vendors in the system. Found the DirParty Table but could not find a way to link it with the VendTable. What tables should I be using if these are the wrong ones? what piece of info links them together? I have checked recid but they are different....

there are 1000+unused items are there in the released priddy list.. so i want to stop those items for all the transaction.. how do i do that..?

You can do exactly what a-kow suggested.

You can either manually do this, or if you can categorize those 1000+ items, a small Job will do that for you.

Hi DAXperts,

Do we have any known issues with the Direct deliveries purchase order price?

AX 2012 R3 CU10

The issue is that when business tried to create the purchase order with direct delivery against the sales order , system does not pick up any purchase price in the create direct delivery form.

Path : Accounts Receivable - > Sales order - > Direct delivery - > Create direct delivery .

Observations :

Valid purchase trade agreement prices are available i.e 04/01/2018 ..09/01/2018.(Month/Date/Year)
With same item and vendor combination, application updates the price for a normal purchase order.

Please advise if you have come across this situation and what is the solution? Why are Purchase prices not picking for direct delivery?

Hi team,

There is customized field in table where field property is set as Allow edit as yes which is not editable.
There is no code related to customized field, have checked with full AOT.
Customized field is used in views, one table, queries, forms, have checked all elements properites and everything is set as yes.
Created duplicate field in table which is editable.
created duplicate field with same name and deleted old field which is also editable in table.

Please help me to sort out the issue.
